fiber Vessels

An experiment that went well. Beads adorn the vessel while the 'shards' of broken pieces are enhanced by gold foil threads inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi.

100% wool, glass beads, crystal beads, acrylic medium.

White on white with silver beads and thread.  Shell cabochons enhance the spirals and circular motifs found on the sides.  I love the bead fringed double arches on the front.

The base of this vessel is mohair which gives a lovely translucent quality.  Mohair and boucle yarns embellish the outside with a flourish of beads that add to the mystery of this vessel.

This little fellow is adorable.  Standing only 4 inches tall he's pretty mighty with a small light in his belly.  A tea light fits perfectly for a nightlight or ambiance.

This beautiful vessel has had more U-turns than an English garden maze.  It's blingy and fancy and has a statement to make.

Created to celebrate EGA Knoxville Chapter's 50th anniversary. Our symbol is the pineapple. Pin Loom squares and triangles were manipulated to create this fun pineapple.
